Start date: ASAP Responsibilities: Seek and develop new retail relationships for Mala with focus on boutiques, natural, grocery, gift, wellness, etc - covering territories within Canada and USA Help support Mala's retail presence throughout North America with assisting with demos, pop-ups, retail training, and tradeshows Nurture existing relationships: foster current B2B relationships with regular communication, helping out with event planning and marketing initiatives.
Work collaboratively with our marketing and brand team to bring in-store events to life Qualifications: 2 years of previous sales experience, bonus if in CPG/ D2C Undergraduate degree or related work experience Excellent understanding of numbers and the economics behind managing retail customers with the ability to organize data, interpret metrics, and identify trends. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Results-driven, self-starting team player Flexible to travel for tradeshows as needed Possesses laptop to work off of Excellent reading, written and verbal language skills (English) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent time management and organizational skills Working experience of Excel Spreadsheets, Shopify, and Google Suite is an asset We're looking to work with an independent freelancer or sales agency.
