| Your challenges ? The role involves the following tasks and responsibilities :Design mechanical components for antennas, payloads, or space electronics units ;Understand customer requirements ;Propose concepts that meet requirements ;Select/design components to meet constraints ;Integrate concepts from electrical, materials, structural and thermal engineering disciplines into a 3D model ;Develop/review manufacturing drawings, assembly and parts lists ;Evaluate system costs, establish schedules ;Monitor activities of component suppliers ;Support integration and testing of components into higher-level assemblies (during design and manufacturing phases) ;Develop mass budgets ;Present concepts to the customer. | What do we expect from you ?
The minimum required skills necessary for this role :Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or equivalent ;2 to 5 years of experience in mechanical design ;Bilingual (English/French) ;Knowledge of geometric tolerancing, drawing standards ;CAD design skills (NX, Creo or Catia) ;Knowledge of the space industry ;Good communication skills ;Knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel. | What can you expect from TMC ?
