About this Role:In this co-op position, you will work closely with engineers developing an all-weather emergency response drone with a high-resolution camera cluster capable of tracking and identifying people and vehicles at long distances. We work as a team. You will not only gain valuable engineering experience but also project planning and contingency planning necessary to meet customer demands as we strive for better solutions.
We meet customer demands by understanding their challenges. Core working hours 10:00am to 4:00pm pst. Hybrid remote tailored to create the best fit between your and our needs.
Outside Vancouver , BC fully remote option available. In this Role you will:CAD drawings and engineering of all weather high speed vtol drone. Aerodynamic and structural simulations.
Test and evaluate drones in all modes of operation. Part of a team of electrical, software and mechanical engineers from around the world building a high-resolution camera cluster fusing multiple sensors and all weather high-speed long flight duration drone. You will partake in working sessions where you will work collaboratively building solutions.
Qualifications:Canadian or Permanent Resident enrolled in an Engineering or Science Co-op program. Fusion 360 experienceGreat communication, problem solving, debugging and documentation skills. You enjoy the thrill of learning how to do hard things.
Once hard things are understood they are easy.
