Our EDO (Engineering Design Organization) Group is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to take on the role of Engineering Graduate, Structural in our GTA or Waterloo locations.
Reporting to the EDO Structural Team Leader and as a member of the EDO team, the successful candidate will contribute to and be responsible for all structural engineering aspects of multi-discipline projects in various markets and businesses assisting licensed engineers.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Providing support to Structural Engineers on various ongoing projects
- Assisting in the development of design documents including technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Preparation and delivery of project presentations
- Technical report development including design briefs, inspections and assessments, asset management, health and safety, environmental assessments, and design reports
- On-site inspection and assessment activities of various client infrastructure
- Construction liaison activities including on-site inspections, construction oversight, and construction contract administration assistance
- Communicate and work with other project team members to provide quality service to clients to ensure that all documentation conforms to client/company standards
- Problem solving using standard engineering methods
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (Civil or Structural)
- Eligible to become a Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario
- Strong understanding of Structural Engineering principles and structural concepts
- Experience in Finite Element modeling and analysis using structural computer software such as SAP 2000
- Familiar with Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit
- Knowledge of applicable design and building codes such as OBC, NBC, CSA S16 and A23.3
- Familiarity with structural engineering industry latest advancements
- Strong technical report writing skills
- Strong computer skills including experience with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project, Adobe
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Positive attitude, good communication and interpersonal skills
