Iris's direct client, one of the Top 5 Bank in Canada, is looking to hire a Senior C# .NET Developer for a long term opportunity at Toronto, ON (Hybrid Position).
Our Client is a Canadian multinational financial services company and the largest bank in Canada by market capitalization. Bank is serving individual consumers, small and middle market businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk-management products and services.
Position: Senior C# .NET Developer (with Strong Experience in React.js OR Kafka)
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid Position)
Duration: Long Term Position /Contract to Hire role
Must Have
- Must have 10 years of development experience in C#/.NET. Need 4 years of solid hands-on web programming experience React.JS (Web Hooks) OR Kafka Messaging services.
- Experience with React, state management and hooks is highly ideal.
- A strong understanding of APIs with experience building REST APIs following best practices
- Good understanding of data structures and experience with relational databases
- Writing unit tests and knowledge of testing frameworks
- Experience with source control (e.g. Git Github) and modern software delivery techniques.
Nice-to-have Skills:
- NodeJS \& Kafka
- Experience with trading Stocks, Options and Mutual Funds
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/DC Pipelines
- Creating reusable components and deploying to package manager
- Exposure to DevOps best practices and cloud computing
