Role Responsibilities
Reporting to the Facilities Coordinator, the Maintenance Service Worker 3 will perform specific duties related to the operation of the building including maintenance of mechanical systems including Building Management Control Systems, pneumatic controls, HVAC systems, and other duties.
Key responsibilities for the Maintenance Service Worker 3 include, but are not limited to:
- Routine and preventative maintenance of all internal/external building components
- Monitor building's mechanical/electrical systems to ensure a safe environment
- Direct communications interaction with building clients making sure client requests are fulfilled or directed to correct areas for completion
- Assist trades in completing repairs and projects including organizing rental equipment
- Assist in the administration of WORTS (Work Order Tracking System)
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required
- Building Operator A Certificate, 5th Class Power Plant Engineer Certificate OR applicable trade certification.
- 2 years of related experience
- Valid class 5 driver's license
Knowledge/Skills Required
- Excellent knowledge of building operations and all associated mechanical/electrical equipment
- Excellent knowledge of Building Maintenance Control System and FMS
- Broad knowledge of fire sprinkler equipment operations.
- Basic skills for reading and interpreting blueprints

Hours of work: 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week
Location: Edmonton, Alberta
Term of Employment: Full time, Permanent
