Are you a results-driven Project Manager with a passion for digital health innovation? Join us in driving the modernization of Alberta's healthcare technology landscape! We're seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead strategic eHealth projects, including the MyHealth Records program, within the Consumer eHealth Unit.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a key member of the team, you'll oversee all aspects of project execution---from planning and coordination to stakeholder engagement and reporting. Your projects will deliver innovative, citizen-facing digital health solutions that align with the Ministry's enterprise architecture.
- Develop and manage project charters, business cases, and comprehensive project plans.
- Deliver compliant and scalable IT solutions aligned with Alberta Health's strategic vision.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, provincial health agencies, and external stakeholders.
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions to gather input and support change management.
- Track and report progress, risks, and outcomes to sponsors and steering committees.
- Ensure project documentation, budget tracking, governance, and post-implementation reviews are completed effectively.
What You Bring:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

5+ years of project management experience in IT, including delivering digital solutions.

Strong background in creating business/project deliverables (charters, business plans, etc.).

Active PMP or PgMP Certification (PMI).

3+ years experience specifically in development, implementation, or support of digital health or enterprise systems.

Excellent interpersonal skills with a knack for relationship-building and conflict resolution.

Experience leading cross-functional teams in a complex, stakeholder-rich environment.
