Role Description:
• Following an agile methodology, participating in planning, estimating sessions, and completing analysis, design and development for full stack technologies and Guidewire Policy Center applications.
• Completing unit testing and supporting integration testing, End to End testing and UAT.
• Follow change management process.
• Meeting deliverables on predetermined implementation dates.
• Providing estimates for business cases, impact assessments, projects, and action requests in response to requests from ICBC and TCS stakeholders.
• Managing multiple concurrent tasks in an environment of changing deadlines, priorities and requirements.
• Working cooperatively in a cross functional team environment and with other departments to develop enhancements and to provide support for Insurance applications.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and able to provide direction to offshore staff.
Required Skill Set
• Strong experience in full stack technologies React, REST, Spring Boot, Java, Kubernetes (OpenShift or equivalent) based development environment along with AWS cloud development environment
• 70% weightage Experience in Guidewire Policy Center Development experience
• 30% weightage Experience in data modeling and RDBMS.
• Experience with SQL / PL-SQL and usage of SQL Developer or similar tools.
• Experience using SoapUI / JMeter for service testing.
• Experience in tools HP Service Manager, JIRA, Eclipse, GW Studio and related tools
• Working experience and demonstrated ability creating and documenting technical designs.
• Good to have: Experience in Guidewire Cloud.
Desired Skill Set
