The A220 commercial aircraft Program is looking for an Engineering professional MAP Avionic to join our MAP Engineering team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will work jointly with the Engineering support to production A220 team.
The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.
Your role as Engineering professional MAP Avionic will be to support production and delivery operations in our assembly and preflight areas by proposing or validating solutions to non-conformity reports (NCR) and flight snags (ALB) related to avionics to restore design integrity of the A220 aircraft conception.

Your challenges:
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications \& provide guidance to MAP engineering team and production.
- Prepare reports and presentations on specific avionic issues met in production and requiring a presentation to the customer.
- Analyze recorded aircraft data following flights.
- Maintain a current and up-to-date knowledge of developments in aircraft avionic systems in order to recommend innovations to improve the quality, economy, and effectiveness of company products.
- Work in close cooperation with other Engineering disciplines such as Design Office, MAP team and Support Groups such as Logistics, Methods \& Quality in order to achieve the company's business objectives.
- Participate in projects that aim to increase productivity, reduce waste and improve financial performance.
- Might require support outside standard business hours.
Your boarding pass:
- You have a University degree in Avionic, Electrical, Electronic, Software, Aerospace engineering or in a related field.
- You have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in Avionic systems. Know a range of avionics products is an important asset.
- You have a significant experience (Design office, test, flight test or support to production) in one of the following ATA chapters: ATA23, ATA31 and/or ATA34.
- You have an in-depth knowledge of Avionics communication protocols: ARINC429 and ARINC664.
- You know the In Service Airbus documentation (AMP/AMM, FIM/TSM, RSI/ISI, TFU, FOT).
- You have the ability to make solid and accurate decisions using good judgment.
- You are organized, able to manage your time and are able to prioritize tasks effectively with short deadlines during your daily activities.
- You are a team player with strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- You are bilingual (French and English).
