In this role, you will assist in the design and modification of mechanical structures and aerospace components for various aircraft systems. You will collaborate with technical experts and report directly to the Engineering Manager. - Conceptual Design: Collaborate on aerospace component designs.
- Design Changes: Update designs per customer feedback and standards.
- 2D to 3D Conversion: Convert 2D drawings to 3D CAD models in CATIA V5.
- Drawing Creation: Create engineering drawings from CAD models.
- Legacy Mylar to CAD: Digitize Mylar drawings into CAD.
- Document Management: Ensure version control and compliance with aerospace standards.
- Project Execution: Assist in project execution with updates and metrics.
- Collaboration: Work with the team and seek mentorship.
- Design Automation: Use tools to improve efficiency.
- Performance Metrics: Track metrics to ensure project success.
- Problem-Solving: Address issues and implement changes.
