Contributes to the success of the Global Risk Management (GRM) Corporate Function by managing ongoing compliance activities and strategies in line with regulations and internal policies.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
The Senior Manager will support the development and oversight of the eight pillars of the Compliance Program, including establishing and maintaining policies aligned with Global Compliance standards and ensuring their effectiveness:
- Support Director Corporate Function Compliance in managing GRM compliance programs
- Maintain awareness of risks and controls related to regulatory obligations
- Monitor and engage with GRM leads through meetings, committees, and reporting
- Maintain the CF Standard and related policies
- Oversee regulatory compliance reporting in collaboration with Enterprise Compliance and Business Line Teams
- Advise GRM team on RCM Program activities under the GC-CF Oversight Model
- Assist in deploying and sustaining the GRM Compliance Program
- Manage relationships within GRM to ensure a coordinated compliance effort
- Participate in other GRM Compliance activities as needed
- Represent GRM Compliance in discussions on program enhancements
- Consider the bank's risk appetite in daily activities and decisions
- Ensure operational controls meet regulatory and conduct risk obligations
- Promote a customer-focused culture and leverage bank relationships
- Maintain a high-performance, inclusive work environment
Do you have the skills to succeed? - We'd love to work with you if you have:
- Post-secondary education, preferably in risk management, IT, or audit
- 7+ years of experience in risk management, IT, or cybersecurity within a large, complex, global institution
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to adapt to changing regulatory and business environments
- Strong project management, research, and analytical skills
