Eurofins CDMO Alphora seeks a Manager, Technology Transfer to support cGMP manufacturing. The role reports to the Director of Operations and involves leadership of the Technology Transfer department, overseeing process design, implementation, and compliance with cGMP, EHS, and company standards. This position is onsite.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead a team of 5-10 Process Specialists
-
Manage departmental activities including planning, training, performance, recruitment, and budget
-
Support production scheduling and collaborate with Manufacturing BU stakeholders
-
Design and execute safe, scalable processes from gram to multi-kilo scale
-
Generate Master Batch Records and review Batch Records for release
-
Coordinate exception management and ensure compliance with CAPA, audits, and training
-
Establish workflows and KPIs for Technology Transfer
-
Participate in project meetings and promote process improvements and technology upgrades
-
Foster collaboration between Operations and Technology Transfer teams for training and process transfers

Interact with clients and regulatory agencies as needed

Adhere to SOPs and EHSPs
-
The ideal candidate will have:
-
An MSc or PhD in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (preferred)
-
Over 10 years' experience in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
-
Proven leadership and team management skills
-
Experience in a cGMP environment
-
Strong communication, multitasking, interpersonal, time, and project management skills
