++Summary:++
This role will support the successful execution of new product launches, product renovations, lifecycle management, packaging development, and trial management, ensuring projects stay on track and meet business goals. As a Project/Packaging Coordinator, you will assist in the day-to-day management of projects, packaging development, and lifecycle management, including overseeing trial management for new products and packaging. You will work closely with the cross-functional teams to ensure tasks are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. Your role will include tracking, organizing, and reporting on project activities while supporting packaging development, trial execution, and product lifecycle management. You will be an integral part of the team, helping to coordinate trials for product testing and packaging validation.
++Primary Responsibilities:++
- Project Support: Provide day-to-day support for product development, packaging development, and lifecycle management projects, assisting with scheduling, tracking, and coordinating tasks to ensure timely execution.
- Packaging Development: Assist in the development and coordination of packaging materials for new product launches, including liaising with design teams, suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure packaging meets product, branding, and regulatory requirements. Track packaging samples, prototypes, and approvals to ensure timely delivery.
- Trial Management: Coordinate and manage product trials, including, production runs, and pilot trials for new products or packaging formats. Ensure that trials are executed as planned, collect feedback, and communicate results to relevant stakeholders. Assist in the analysis of trial outcomes and recommend adjustments for optimization.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate project documentation for product and packaging details, ensuring all project timelines, deliverables, trial results, and approvals are properly recorded and accessible for team members and stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams (R\&D, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, QA) and external stakeholders (vendors, packaging suppliers) to ensure smooth communication and timely execution of project tasks, especially related to packaging requirements and trial feedback.
- Timeline Tracking: Assist in the development and monitoring of project timelines for both product and packaging, ensuring key milestones are met and project tasks are completed on schedule. Highlight any potential delays and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Inventory \& Materials Management: Support the tracking of inventory levels and assist in managing new materials and ingredient quantities during product launches, ensuring packaging materials and trial quantities are aligned with production schedules.
- Project Reporting: Prepare and update progress reports for the PLM Project Manager and senior leadership, tracking key milestones, deliverables, trial outcomes, and any risks that may impact the product or packaging development process.
- Risk Management: Assist in identifying potential risks and issues that could impact the product lifecycle, packaging timelines, or trial execution. Help with the development of contingency plans and support the implementation of corrective actions.
- Packaging Compliance: Ensure all packaging materials comply with company standards, regulatory requirements, and sustainability goals. Work with the team to maintain proper documentation for compliance and approvals.
- First Production Support: Assist with the coordination of first production runs, providing on-site support during packaging implementation and ensuring smooth execution during the initial launch phase.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of packaging development, product trial, and project management processes by identifying opportunities for better efficiency, cost savings, and sustainability practices in packaging.

Post-secondary education in Business or a relevant field

Experience in project coordination, product development, supply chain, or a related field

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
