Due to continued growth, Foster Partners are excited to announce their search for a talented Urban Designer to join their London team.
Responsibilities
- Understanding of design/master plan project and research into relevant urban design and planning issues
- Support of project teams throughout the design process
- Help in developing diagrammatic or spatial representations where appropriate
- Development of design concepts alongside other Foster Partners urban designers
- Thorough knowledge of and compliance with F P procedures and standards
Required Qualities \& Skills
- Ability to use a variety of media in the development and documentation of urban design projects
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to build good relationships at all internal and external levels
- Ability to use some of the following: GIS, PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, Internet Explorer, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Experience working on large scale masterplans
