Main Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality animal care, monitor health, prepare and maintain cages, and ensure clean food and water supplies. Perform routine cage cleaning, follow enrichment schedules, and dispose of carcasses appropriately.
- Maintain cleanliness in all facility areas, including animal rooms, offices, and storage, by washing floors, walls, and surfaces, and managing cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP and HSE policies, complete all required documentation promptly, including training records and SOPs.
- Monitor animal health, assist with procedures, and document treatments as required.
- Maintain inventory levels of feed, bedding, cleaning supplies, and enrichment materials.
Qualifications
- Minimum two/three-year College Diploma in Animal Health or Veterinary Technician, with at least 6 months of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Knowledge of animal handling, health control, cGXP, HSE policies, and sanitization procedures.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and ensure duties are completed efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, accountability, and problem-solving abilities.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
