Job Description: Supplier Management Specialist
Join a purpose-driven, results-oriented team in an inclusive, high-performing culture. The Supplier Management Specialist is responsible for managing enterprise third-party relationships throughout the contract lifecycle to optimize value and mitigate risk. Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying internal partner needs and sourcing suppliers to fulfill those needs.
- Evaluating costs and quality, executing strategic visions, and managing supplier/client relationships.
- Providing industry trend insights, advice, and counsel to stakeholders.
- Managing supplier relationships, conducting review meetings, and negotiating contracts.
- Monitoring supplier performance through dashboards, scorecards, and spend analysis.
- Ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and supporting communication with stakeholders.
- Maintaining accurate records of contracts, reports, and correspondence.
- Staying current with industry trends, laws, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications: Minimum five years of experience in supply chain or contract management, post-secondary education, proficiency in project management, negotiation, problem-solving skills, and computer proficiency in MS Office and industry software. Knowledge of Spanish is desirable.
