Description
Scope
- Plan and lead projects as part of digital transformation initiatives.
- Provide leadership to project teams, external service providers, and contractors.
- Lead the implementation of public-facing support pages, promote Open Data, and develop LEAN processes related to technology transformation.
- Identify impacts of changes, escalate issues, and revise work plans and budgets accordingly.
- Coordinate resources across ITS, JTS, divisional teams, Ontario.ca, and vendors to support project activities.
- Promote OPS I\&IT standards and best practices for project management.
- Provide strategic guidance on technology modernization and process improvements.
- Work with clients to analyze needs, improve IT systems, and support business objectives.
- Develop processes based on LEAN methodology, documenting value-added steps and gaps.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and project documentation.
- Define project scope, requirements, and manage project execution within timelines.
- Design, test, install, and monitor new systems; plan future enhancements.
- Act as liaison to resolve technical issues and monitor system performance.
- Conduct business analysis, document requirements, and apply re-engineering concepts for process improvements.
- Support testing phases and develop business cases and submissions.
- Participate in knowledge transfer and lessons learned sessions.
Assignment Deliverables

Skills and Experience
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience in process design, business analysis, and project management of applications/systems.

- Experience in large-scale transformation projects, I\&IT support, change management, leadership, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards, security, cloud technologies, and project methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
