We're seeking an Administrative Assistant to join an insurance firm located in Vancouver, British Columbia. This is a hybrid role , offering the flexibility to work both remotely and in-office.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Administrative Assistant to support our team in daily office operations. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of administrative experience along with prior exposure to the insurance industry. Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to staff and management
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence with professionalism
- Maintain and update client records, databases, and filing systems
- Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and policy documents
- Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and coordinate office logistics
- Support client onboarding and documentation processing in EPIC
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations
The Successful Candidate Has:
- Minimum 1 year of administrative experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the insurance industry
- General Insurance Licence for BC or is open to getting licenced after starting job
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and EPIC or similar BMS
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Compensation and Benefits:
- The discussed pay range is $22.00- 25.00 dollars per hour depending on experience
- This is a contract opportunity with strong potential to go permanent
- Work from home capability 2-3 days per week
