Base pay range
CA$50,000.00/yr - CA$60,000.00/yr

Position Overview
As a Logistics Coordinator at DG Global Inc., you are responsible for overseeing and coordinating all the execution of customer deliveries. This role will be based at our HQ in Toronto, reporting to the Logistics Manager.

Responsibilities
- Book vessel space with ocean carriers and trucking companies.
- Build and maintain good relationships with carriers.
- Prepare import and export documentation -- including Bill of Lading, Phytosanitary Certificates, Invoices, Certificate of Origin, etc.
- Conformity, review, and post ocean, trucking, and supplier invoices for payment.
- Ensure the smooth flow of shipments, resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Review files before closing to ensure all processes are followed.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure best-in-class logistics performance.
- Achieve targeted cost efficiencies and freight savings.
- Coordinate and monitor transportation for imports and exports.
- The company may assign other duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree or certificate in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in logistics coordination for agricultural or similar commodities.
- Experience in freight forwarding is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and ERP software is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
