Your Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of standard treaty reinsurance claims, including lines such as Professional Liability, General Liability, Workers' Compensation, and Property.
- Analyze and register incoming loss advices, technical accounts, and cash-loss requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance within the scope of assigned accounts.
- Review and assess the adequacy of reported exposures and recommend appropriate reserve strategies.
- Interpret complex claims information and apply sound judgment to claim handling and resolution strategies.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external partners --- including underwriters, actuaries, brokers, and clients --- to support effective claims resolution.
- Prepare and communicate timely and insightful updates for management through regular reporting (daily, weekly, quarterly).
- Perform data quality reviews and maintain data integrity across claims systems and processes.
- Administer claims in accordance with departmental procedures using tools such as SICS/nt, workflow platforms, and reporting tools (e.g., Business Objects).
