As the Software Development Manager, you'll lead a team of developers focused on building and scaling our healthcare platform---powering experiences across the PC Health website and Shoppers Drug Mart's digital ecosystem. You'll be responsible for driving development, maintaining software quality, and ensuring the platform continues to evolve to meet the growing needs of Canadians.
You'll report to the Senior Engineering Manager and work closely with product, design, analytics, and stakeholders to ship meaningful features---not just code. From personalized care journeys to digital pharmacy and wellness tools, your team will play a critical role in delivering high-impact, user-centered healthcare solutions.

What You'll Do:

Experienced Software Development Manager with a background in leading Frontend Development teamss.

You have a strong technical foundation with 10+ years of hands-on software development experience---specializing in frontend systems while maintaining a solid understanding of backend architecture.

You will not be coding, but you stay close enough to the work to guide architectural decisions, unblock technical challenges, and set high engineering standards.

You've been operating as an Engineering Manager for at least a year and know how to lead, grow, and empower a high-performing team.

You've led frontend-focused teams delivering complex, performant, and accessible user experiences---while collaborating closely with backend, platform, and infrastructure counterparts to build cohesive, scalable systems.

You've built and scaled large, consumer-facing applications in highly collaborative, cross-functional environments---ideally with healthcare, retail, or other high-impact domains.
