POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Engineer to investigate, analyze, and resolve quality issues through internal audits, trend analysis, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. This role will collaborate closely with the manufacturing team to ensure that all finished goods meet Customer expectations and are shipped with precision and quality.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Work with Manufacturing to ensure Customer quality metrics are reported and corrective actions are implemented promptly.

Conduct audits to drive process standardization and continuous improvement.

Monitor, communicate, and improve key Customer/Internal KPIs, including adherence to quality standards and requirements.

Champion root cause analysis, corrective actions, and containment activities to eliminate recurring issues.

Support new product development by assisting in APQP activities and evaluating new part runs.

Establish and track short- and long-term quality goals aligned with business objectives.

Visit Customer facilities and build strong, long-term relationships to support collaboration and cost-reduction ideas.

Handle technical issues in a timely manner to ensure smooth operations and continuity of supply.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent, with a strong focus on quality standards.

3--5 years of hands-on quality or manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in a heavy industrial environment.

Familiar with IATF 16949:2016 Quality Systems and Customer-specific platforms (e.g., IMDS).

Proficient in blueprint reading, GD\&T, and use of measurement tools (e.g., calipers, CMM, Laser Scanner).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of the aluminum extrusion industry and equipment is an asset.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
