Where would you fit in?
This position is focused on managing the external supply chain. The coordinator will be involved in the development, management, measurement, and analysis of supply chain stakeholders. Supply chain management addresses cross-functional issues and encompasses a broad range of the company's business lines, including production, purchasing, and procurement.
As a member of the Sonovision Team, the Supply chain coordinator has the responsibility of supporting the operations team.
A Supply Chain Coordinator with Sonovision should have:
•Essential experience in industrial manufacturing.
•A university degree with extensive knowledge of supply chain and production management.
•Proficiency in computer tools, including Microsoft Office.
•Knowledge of mechanical design (e.g., plan reading, tolerancing).
•Demonstrated leadership, rigor, organizational skills, and a sense of responsibility.
•Strong negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
•Develop and monitor the industrial performance of the external supply chain.
•Source suppliers and manage supplier relationships.
•Conduct industrial audits, including Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Lean audits.
•Oversee the supplier qualification process and monitor qualifications.
•Draft and update supplier improvement plans.
•Manage transfer plans.
•Measure and manage supplier performance metrics (e.g., On-Time Delivery (OTD), Delivery on Demand (DOD)).
•Handle external supply chain contractualization.
•Implement action plans to achieve required objectives as part of a continuous improvement approach.
•Master production processes and problem analysis and resolution methods such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Ishikawa.
