TheOpportunity
Our client has initiated the search for aDirector of Sales, Canada \& Trade Marketing in fully realizing theirpotential in the marketplace.

TheDirector of Sales will be pivotal in shaping the future of the salesstrategy and expanding market presence. As a key brand builder in theorganization, the Director will develop and execute strategicinitiatives that drive top-line growth and enhance profitability,including overseeing day-to-day sales operations, managing keyaccounts, and pioneering white space opportunities for all of Sodalis'brands.

In assuming this leadership position the new Director ofSales, Canada \& Trade Marketing will need to:
- Overseeday-to-day operations of the sales function in the Canadian market,ensuring strong top-line growth without compromising profit margins
- Directly manage all accounts and trade, develop promotionalplans, and execute them effectively.
- Management of tradefunds and T\&E expenses within assigned budgets
- Prepareaccurate forecasts, risk assessments, and required reports andpresentations, according to timelines
- Work collaborativelywith the SVP, Sales to identify opportunity gaps and prepare for linereview presentations.
- Develop and gain a foothold in whitespace Canadian channels, including Convenience, Canadian Tire, andClub (COSTCO).
- Track and resolve customer service issues incoordination with appropriate parties.
ProfessionalQualifications \& Experience
- Minimum of 8-10 yearsin sales and sales management of consumer products within food or drugchannels.
- Strong understanding of the Canadian market,including go-to-market strategies.
- Knowledge of hair careand skincare categories is a strong plus.
- Proven history ofdriving growth, improving profitability, and enhancing shelfpositioning.
- Proven record of successfully introducing newbrands in the Canadian market.
- Passion for developing andexecuting sales plans that increase sales, grow profit, and minimizeexpenses.
- High degree of professionalism, energy, timemanagement skills, and creative thinking.
- Ability to thrivein a resource-thin environment.
- Bachelor's Degree inMarketing or Commerce; or equivalent work experience
- Master's Degree: an asset
- Analytical Experience: 3-5 yearsof experience working with IRI/Nielsen data
