The role at RBC Insurance Advice Centre offers flexibility and fulfillment. As a bilingual Licensed Insurance Advisor for Home \& Auto, you'll provide insurance advice and options to help clients protect what's important. You'll be empathetic, helpful, and clear in your communication, focusing on delivering an exceptional client experience. You will contribute to sales goals by proactively recommending insurance solutions and referring clients within the organization.
What will you do?
- Provide insurance advice and solutions to clients via inbound calls.
- Ensure a positive client experience and resolve concerns at first contact.
- Complete needs assessments and reviews using tools and resources.
- Understand regulatory risks related to underwriting and policy updates.
- Use procedures effectively during client interactions.
- Maintain relationships with partners to work as part of the RBC team.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
- Possession or willingness to obtain the Quebec Damage Insurance certificate and General Insurance License for Ontario and other provinces.
- Bilingual in English and French.
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts during operational hours.
- Digital literacy across devices.
Nice-to-have:
- Post-secondary education.
- Knowledge of insurance products.
- Customer service or sales experience in a contact centre.
