Responsible for new product launch \& equipment commissioning for assigned commodities into production. Develop and update process documentation (process standards, layout, process flow, PFMEA, process planning etc.) Monitor results and KPIs, perform studies and analysis of implementations to ensure process consistency.
Ensure product designs can be manufactured through APQP. Engineering Degree or Diploma. Functional knowledge of design for manufacturing techniques and APQP process.
Minimum 5 years relevant manufacturing experience, automotive products. Experience in the assembling of plastic components in a high-volume automated production environment. Experience in assembly of electronic and electrical components or high voltage automotive products is a plus (quality controls, functional testing, etc.).
Laser Welding (plastic/metal) experience considered an asset. Exposure to balancing rotary mass in production considered an asset.
