As an Account Executive, you'll be responsible for selling interactive advertising solutions to businesses across Saskatchewan. You'll work directly with business owners and marketing decision-makers to build tailored campaigns, leveraging our strong digital audience and content-driven ad products.
In addition to direct sales, you'll support local media sales representatives by helping them identify and pitch integrated advertising solutions for their clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a pipeline of advertising prospects across Saskatchewan
- Sell interactive advertising solutions, including sponsored content, display ads, and native placements on SaskToday.ca
- Conduct in-person and virtual sales presentations to demonstrate value and close deals
- Collaborate with local radio and media sales representatives to support integrated sales efforts
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular service and follow-up
- Work with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, fulfillment, and performance tracking
- Track all activities in CRM systems and provide regular updates on pipeline progress and revenue
- Stay informed on advertising trends, competitor activity, and local business challenges
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- 2+ years of sales experience (media, advertising, or digital sales preferred)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Confidence in engaging small business owners and C-suite decision-makers
- Familiarity with online advertising products (e.g., display ads, sponsored content, audience targeting)
- Self-motivated, resilient, and passionate about helping businesses grow
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience selling advertising solutions (radio, digital, print, or integrated campaigns) is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of digital advertising products, including display ads, audience targeting, and sponsored content
- Knowledge of the local business landscape in Saskatchewan (or a proven ability to build networks quickly in a new market)
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
- Comfortable conducting in-person, virtual, and phone-based sales meetings
- Ability to develop customized advertising solutions based on client objectives and KPIs
- Familiarity with CRM systems for pipeline management and sales reporting (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Self-motivated, competitive, and driven to succeed independently while working within a team environment
- Willingness to continually learn and adapt in a fast-evolving media and advertising landscape

- Ability to work flexible hours, including traditional and non-traditional schedules
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle

- Must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, Saskatoon, SK

Standard Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday 8:30 am -- 5:00 pm, with flexibility to work around events/experiences outside these hours.
