Role Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in designing and implementing renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will have expertise in high-voltage and medium-voltage electrical substations, as well as experience with design software such as ETAP, Easy Power, Cymcap, PSCAD, PSS/E, CDEGS, WinIGS.
Main Responsibilities
• Execution of projects in the renewable energy industry (solar, wind, BESS)
• Detailed engineering work for high-voltage and medium-voltage electrical substations
• Technical specifications for the acquisition of electrical equipment
• Power system studies (short-circuit, power flow, cable ampacity, wave quality, protection and coordination, grounding, transients, etc.)
Requirements
• A minimum of 7 years' experience in renewable energy projects design (solar, wind, BESS)
• A certification in electrical engineering recognized in at least one Canadian province
• Work experience with design software such as ETAP, Easy Power, Cymcap, PSCAD, PSS/E, CDEGS, WinIGS
