The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre located in Montreal, Quebec. It is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC), affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University, and supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).
Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Manager of Oncology Research at the Centre for Innovative Medicine (CIM), the Oncology Clinical Research Coordinator supports the successful conduct of clinical oncology studies. The Coordinator collaborates with Investigators and healthcare personnel to manage patients and coordinate multiple clinical studies within the CIM-Oncology Department of RI-MUHC.
The CIM is located in the new Glen site hospital, a unique 5000 m2 facility in Canada dedicated exclusively to clinical research.

General Duties
- Recruits participants, conducts pre-screening, and obtains informed consent.
- Assesses patient eligibility through interviews and medical record reviews in hospital and outpatient settings.
- Maintains and updates logs of adverse and concomitant events, questionnaires, and source documentation specific to protocols.
- Completes patient charts.
- Coordinates protocol-related tests, including venipuncture, sample collection, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic assessments, urine collection, and ECGs.
- Processes and ships samples according to protocol and manuals.
- Creates and maintains study-specific source documentation, including visit logs, adverse event logs, imaging forms, pathology requests, and tracking logs.
- Coordinates all aspects of data collection and documentation.
- Maintains inventory of laboratory kits, disposes of expired kits, and requests new ones as needed.
- Schedules and coordinates site initiation and monitoring visits, and follows up on issues.
- Acts as liaison with radiation and medical oncology groups.
- Performs other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
