Role Description
We are looking for an experienced and driven Water and Wastewater Project Manager to join our growing Canadian water business. With 5--10 years of progressive experience managing multi-disciplined projects, including pumping stations, reservoirs, and treatment facilities, you will play a key role in delivering innovative solutions that meet client expectations and uphold our high-quality standards.
In this position, you will collaborate with talented design teams to deliver projects on schedule, while also influencing business development efforts by preparing proposals and building relationships with clients. Whether it is designing new facilities, upgrading existing ones, or conducting condition assessments to recommend improvements, you'll play an important part on our team. This role sits within our global business area, Resilience.
Role Accountabilities
In this role, you will:
- Lead discipline engineering teams in the preparation of detailed design drawings, specifications and cost estimates for water and wastewater projects, and engineering planning projects, including Class EAs and feasibility studies, and condition assessment projects
- Lead the preparation of technical memoranda/ reports for multi-disciplined projects.
- Manage and track project schedules and costs to identify challenges and develop strategies for delivery of services
- Liaise and meet with clients regularly to discuss project progress
- Chair project meetings and ensure preparation of agenda and minutes
- Complete internal financial reporting for assigned projects
- Ensure all quality reviews are completed, and results are well-documented in accordance with Arcadis's quality policies and any project-specific requirements
- Prepare proposals and participate in regular business development activities, including client presentations and meetings
Qualifications and Experience
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
- An engineering license (P.Eng.), or equivalent experience, in good standing
- A PMP designation (preferred but not mandatory)
- 5--10 years of experience managing water and wastewater projects, with a proven record of success.
The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong knowledge of project management systems, such as MS-Project and Oracle.

The salary range for this position is $89,000-134,000. The base salary represents Arcadis' hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
