Salary Range: $68,640 - $91,000
The candidate will serve as a System Administrator for the F-35 Integrated Product Team (IPT). The role involves ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data through planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems security programs, policies, procedures, and tools. The candidate is expected to attend relevant trainings, workshops, and follow instructions from the IT Operations Lead and Senior System Administrators.
Essential Job Functions
- Monitor information systems and user compliance with cybersecurity policy, review monitoring results.
- Coordinate cybersecurity inspections, tests, and reviews with affected parties.
- Implement IS security measures, report incidents, and coordinate responses to unauthorized disclosures.
- Promote security awareness among management and ensure security principles align with organizational goals.
- Develop and implement programs to educate users on security policies and procedures.
- Participate in network and systems design to incorporate security policies.
- Assess security events, determine impact, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor system recovery to ensure security features are restored and operational.
- Collaborate with IT Operations Lead and Senior Administrators on operational issues.
- Assist in analyzing customer information systems for organizational risk.
- Support monitoring and review of information systems for cybersecurity compliance.
- Coordinate cybersecurity inspections, tests, and reviews with relevant parties.
Required Skills
- U.S. Citizenship due to sensitive requirements.
- High school diploma/GED with 13+ years of experience, or Associate's degree with 7+ years, or Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in an IT field.
- Certifications in Windows 10, Linux, RHEL 7/8/9.
- Experience with DISA security tools, implementing NIST 800-53 or JSIG controls.
- Experience with MSSQL 2014/2016/2017/2019.
- Active security clearance required and must be maintained.
- Onsite work required; not eligible for remote work.
- Certifications in Windows, Linux, Red Hat, and Security+ to meet DoD 8140 standards.
- Willingness to work after hours/weekends for patching and maintenance.
- Professionalism, high moral character, and integrity.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with outside agencies.
- Experience designing and configuring workstations, servers, NAS, or network devices.
- Ability to provide IT guidance, accept ambiguous tasks, and work independently.
- Experience working with stakeholders to define and document program needs.
- Knowledge of DOD cybersecurity policies and guidelines.
- Experience with Agile/Kanban methodologies for project development.
- Assist in integrating multiple organizations, ensuring cybersecurity measures are implemented, followed, and documented.
- Perform security scans, SCAP, STIGs, vulnerability assessments, etc.
- Configure systems to maintain cybersecurity defense continually.
- Assess issues during cybersecurity posture reviews.
- Apply DOD cyber operations knowledge to support mission operations.
- Assist in designing techniques for security systems aligned with national, DOD, and DON standards.
