Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to lead our video production team and oversee the entire production process from pre-production planning to final delivery. In this role, you will ensure that our projects stay on schedule, within budget, and maintain the high quality that our brand is known for.

Wages: $39.90/hour
Hours of work: 7.5 hours per day, 30 hours per week
Benefits: 4% vacation pay

Main Duties
Coordinating and managing daily production activities on set for live-action TV mini-series filmed in Metro Vancouver.
Overseeing on-location production logistics, including crew scheduling, location permits, equipment management, and compliance with safety protocols.
Acting as the primary liaison between Canadian crew and Mandarin-speaking overseas clients, ensuring clear communication across language and cultural barriers.
Managing on-set footage quality control, ensuring all required shots meet both creative vision and technical standards needed for post-production.
Ensuring all production timelines and deliverables align with pre-approved production schedules and client expectations.
Coordinating closely with the post-production team to ensure smooth transition from production to editing, and that all necessary assets, metadata, and documentation are properly transferred.
Working closely with department heads (camera, lighting, art, wardrobe) to align their work with overall production goals.
Supporting budget tracking and expense reporting related to production operations.
Supervising production assistants and other support staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 5 years experience in video production management, preferably within a commercial or creative agency setting.
Strong leadership and project management skills with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in video editing software and production tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
