The Supervisor, QA develops and manages QA programs, guiding the team in daily operations to ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory GMP requirements during in-process and release stages. - Leading and supervising QA teams with a focus on in-process quality activities, non-conformance investigations, and GMP compliance.
- Managing QA programs like GMP inspections, equipment calibration, environmental monitoring, and pest control coordination.
- Supporting audits, consumer complaint investigations, and mock recalls while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Training staff, managing schedules, and fostering continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
What you have:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant science discipline (e.g., Food Technology, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology).
- At least 5 years of QA experience in pharmaceutical, natural health, or food product manufacturing.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory standards (NHPD, US GMPs, TGA).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint) and systems like MRP, Syspro, LIMS, and QMS.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A self-starter mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt to diverse teams and shifting priorities.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, a valid driver's license, and access to a reliable vehicle.
