We are looking for a Maintenance Planner to work collaboratively with a high-performing team to drive continuous improvement, capture requirements, and support our business objectives. You will assist the area supervisor(s) with maintenance planning and scheduling, outage coordination, procuring materials, developing work order requests, and coordinating field maintenance contractors to ensure resources are identified for effective work execution.

What you will do:
- Develop and document maintenance work packages.
- Identify requirements for equipment isolation and lock-out plans, collaborating with technicians and engineers.
- Communicate outage requirements with the Region Outage Coordinator.
- Assist in developing outage plans and schedules.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Management to specify and procure parts and materials.
- Undergo background screening, including driving record, criminal check, and medical testing.
- Possess a valid driver's license, verified prior to hire.
Who you are:
- Eight+ years of field operations experience or equivalent education and experience; related university degree plus six+ years preferred.
- Millwright or Mechanical trade certification, diploma, or degree preferred.
- 5+ years of planning or scheduling experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Deep understanding of maintenance planning, scheduling, and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of MAXIMO and Oracle preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Office (60%) and field (40%) settings.
- Travel within Canada and the US for emergencies, training, and meetings.
- Occasional travel of 50-100 miles between stations.
- Work may be in high-noise areas or where vapor from crude oil and solvents is present.
