The Queen's Biomedical Innovation Team (QBiT) is an interdisciplinary design team that designs, prototypes, and tests new, innovative biomedical devices to address healthcare concerns both globally and in our local community.
For the 2025-26 school year, QBiT will be working on 3 projects related to global health:

Position Description:
The Director of Marketing willreport to the Chief Communications Officer. The Director of Marketing is responsible for managing QBiT's social media presence and public branding.
Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing QBiT's marketing strategy

Creating and scheduling posts for QBiT's social media accounts (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)

Collaborating with the Webmaster and Director of Outreach on visual consistency and promotional campaigns

Designing promotional materials (e.g., graphics, posters, stories) for events and recruitment

Regularly attending communication meetings and providing updates
Ideal qualities:

Proficient in social media and graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Figma)

Organized and detail-oriented

Excellent written communication skills

Creative and enthusiastic
Interview info:
Interviews will take place during the weekends of May 23rd to 25th and May 30th to June 1st.
