The opportunity We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Mortgage Administrator specializing in Manual Mortgage Documentation to join our dynamic team. The primary responsibility of this role is to review all mortgage-related documents required for a residential mortgage to ensure documents received are in good order and in accordance with the Bank's Residential Mortgage Underwriting Policies and Standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately preparing mortgage documents under tight deadlines, ensuring all information is precise and compliant with regulatory standards.
This role requires effective communication and collaboration with our underwriting and sales teams to facilitate a smooth mortgage process for our clients Prepare and review mortgage documentation manually to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Review all mortgage-related documents required for a residential mortgage to ensure they are in good order and adhere to the Bank's Residential Mortgage Underwriting Policies and Standards.
- Ensure all documentation adheres to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and the Bank's mortgage products, credit policies, and compliance regulations.
- Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to mortgage documentation.
- This role reports directly to the Supervisor of Mortgage Funding.

General Knowledeg of the Bank's mortgage products, underwriting of a mortgage, credit policies, and compliance regulations to ensure all residential mortgages are set up in accordance with the policies and the bank's interest in the property is protected. Knowledge of mortgage industry regulations and compliance standards Bachelor's degree is not required, looking for someone with the right experience
