Job OverviewWe are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our target audience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing trends, excellent research skills, and proficiency in various social media management tools.
Responsibilities
- Create, curate, and manage published content across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Develop engaging multimedia content tailored to different platforms using Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Illustrator.
- Monitor social media channels for trends and insights to inform content strategy and improve engagement.
- Conduct thorough research to stay updated on industry trends and competitors' activities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media strategies with overall marketing goals.
- Proofread all content for clarity, grammar, and adherence to brand voice before publication.
- Assist in the development of e-commerce campaigns that drive traffic and sales through social media channels.
- Manage advertising campaigns on social media platforms to maximize reach and engagement.
- Engage with customers to promote brand awareness and product knowledge.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Assist in marketing initiatives by participating in events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for growth in the market.
Experience
- Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Familiarity with e-commerce strategies is a plus.
- Experience with advertising on social media platforms is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for success in this role.
- Experience with product demos or sales is a plus.
