OverviewWe are seeking a friendly and professional dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
Duties
- Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a warm and professional manner.
- Manage incoming phone calls using office phone systems, directing calls as necessary.
- Schedule appointments and maintain the front desk calendar efficiently.
- Handle patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
- Maintain organized records and files, both electronic and paper-based.
- Assist with billing inquiries and process payments using QuickBooks or similar software.
- Provide administrative support to staff as needed, including data entry and document preparation.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Familiarity with medical office procedures is a plus.
- Proficiency in using office equipment, computer systems, and software applications including QuickBooks.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a busy environment.
