Important Note: This is a partially grant funded position. Potential candidates must be First Nations, Inuit or Metis and reside within the GTA. What You'll Do
Executive Support (70%)

Manage CEO's calendar, priorities, and inbox with discretion and speed

Schedule internal and external meetings (including board, investor, and client calls)

Prepare briefing notes, track follow-ups, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks

Assist with communications, presentations, and light research

Be a second brain---anticipate needs, flag bottlenecks, and create space for deep work
HR Coordination (30%)

Support hiring logistics, including scheduling interviews and onboarding new hires

Maintain team records and assist with benefits, policies, and time-off tracking

Help nurture culture: birthday shoutouts, team gifts, offsite coordination

Keep people ops running smoothly with a founder's level of care and confidentiality
What We're Looking For

2+ years in an Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff, HR, or people ops role
-
Superb communication skills, sound judgment, and high EQ
-
Ridiculously organized---you bring order to chaos
-
Thrives in a remote, fast-paced, startup environment

Tech-savvy with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, and HR platforms

Trustworthy, positive, resourceful---and able to read the room
