Your responsibilities will include unloading and unpacking shipments of custom cabinetry and hardware, inspecting for damages or shortages, entering data into our system, and supporting shop operations as part of an offset second shift. Be part of a team transforming clients’ spaces with care and craftsmanship!Job DescriptionCompensation & BenefitsFull-time, Monday through Friday Shift 10:00am-6:30pmHourly pay with overtime opportunitiesPaid vacation, holidays and sick daysBenefits after 3 months: Dental, health spending account and extended health carePay: $19.00-$24.00 per hourQualificationsThe ideal candidate for this Shop Technician role would likely possess the following qualifications: Attention to Detail: Essential for quality controlBasic Math Skills: Comfort with measurements, calculations, and quantities to ensure accuracy in receiving and quality control.Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage tasks efficiently, maintain an orderly workspace, and track shipments or inventory effectively.Physical Capability: Ability to lift and move shipments, including custom cabinetry and hardware.Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in entering data navigating software tools.Problem-Solving Skills: Aptitude for identifying and addressing issues like damaged product or quality issues.Willingness to Learn: Enthusiasm for on-the-job training and a positive attitude toward developing new skills.Experience in Shipping/Receiving: Familiarity with unloading, inspecting, and recording shipments is a strong advantage.Basic Woodworking Skills: Operation of basic tools is considered an asset.Forklift Certification: This certification is considered an asset.These qualifications, combined with a great attitude and an eagerness to contribute to the team, would make a fantastic candidate for this position.Additional InformationWhy Join Us?
