Position Summary

This is a temporary 15-month contract to cover a leave of absence, with potential to develop into a permanent position.

You'll bring strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities (written and verbal), and a positive can-do attitude. Job Description
Lead onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring a smooth start
Maintain up-to-date digital employee records and meet employment compliance requirements
Support HR Operations through data entry, reporting and general administrative tasks
Provide timely and helpful responses to HR-related inquiries from employees and external contacts
Collaborate with other departments to support payroll, benefits, and other onboarding needs
Stay current with HR best practices, trends and policy updates
Uphold and model company policies and procedures with professionalism
Requirements
Prior HR administration experience or related role
Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or related field considered an asset
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
A proactive attitude and willingness to provide a variety of administrative or recruitment support
Understanding of Employment Standards and HR best practices
High level of confidentiality and professionalism
Proficiency in document management and HR software an asset (BambooHR preferred)
Availability Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with flexibility for occasional overtime or Saturdays as needed
One quarterly shift (10:00 AM - 6:30 pm) in our Manufacturing Facility
Class 5 Driver's license and reliable vehicle
Local or willing to relocate to Central Alberta
