Our work is difficult but we get it done safely, with great peopleKey Duties & Responsibilities:Assist with the operation and maintenance of vacuum trucks, high pressure water equipment and various specialty toolsWork safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labor intensive capacityClimb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment – our experienced crew has your backEnsure safety for all team members and propertyWork as part of a team and follow direction from supervisionWork outdoors in a variety of weather conditionsComplete minor maintenance and checks on equipmentLearn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipmentComplete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports and safety documentsChallenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every timeOther duties as assignedRole SpecificationsValid Class G driver’s license with no more than 5 demerits in the last two years1+ years experience in an industrial environment is an asset but not requiredAble to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol testAbility to travel throughout Ontario (flexibility in scheduling is required)Skills:Strong mechanical aptitudeYou are safety focused when it comes to people and equipmentExperience and comfort with confined spacesPerform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)Comfortable with the use of additional respiratory equipment and air supply; wearing a full face mask and carrying your own source of oxygenYou’re happiest working in a team, sharing a laugh with your coworkers and getting the job done safely Additional InformationThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
