The Opportunity
Position Summary:
Reporting to Director of Operations, the Client Service Manager (CSM) is responsible for the overall operational and clinical leadership of Seniors Long Term Care Programs, ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care in alignment with Carewest’s strategic priorities. This role provides oversight of day-to-day operations, resource management, quality improvement initiatives, and interdisciplinary team performance to enhance service delivery and client outcomes. The CSM is accountable for driving positive change, staff engagement, and operational efficiencies while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
•Provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care to seniors.
•Lead change management initiatives to enhance service delivery, workforce engagement, and system efficiency.
•Lead interdisciplinary team alignment, ensuring all members work to their full scope of practice while adhering to best practices and organizational objectives.
•Develop and implement action plans related to clinical and non-clinical initiatives and audits.
•Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and accreditation standards.
•Oversee talent acquisition, employee development and performance evaluations for the portfolio
•Optimize financial and operational resources to ensure sustainability and continuous improvement.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support program development and service integration.
•Skilled in leading teams through change by promoting flexibility, fostering adaptability, and guiding others during transitions.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in a health-related discipline required; advanced education or leadership training preferred.
•Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in continuing care or a related healthcare setting.
•Strong understanding of healthcare regulations such as Continuing Care Health Service Standards and Accommodation standards.
•Demonstrated expertise in change management, employee engagement, and team leadership in complex healthcare environments.
•Current registration with health professional licensing body.
•Demonstrate strong business acumen and be able to navigate complex situations to contribute to Carewest’s goals and objectives
•Strong judgment to make timely, informed, and effective decisions, especially in high-pressure situations
