This is a full-time position, with a four-day work week on a 3-week rotation. Some flexibility in availability will occasionally be required.This person needs to be independent, self-reliant, and have excellent communication skills. Our Class 1 City Drivers complete pickups and deliveries in the local area. You will be required to complete pre/post-trip inspections, keep logs up to date and be able to secure freight for transport. You will be working with our customers closely to ensure that their needs are met in a timely fashion. QualificationsClass 1 License1 Year of Pick-up & Delivery experience is an assetStrong Customer Service SkillsPhysically FitKnowledge of the area is considered an assetFamiliar with Flat Deck Trailer, and LCV qualifications are considered an asset TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience requiredMust provide a criminal record check, driver abstract, and 2 WORK-RELATED references.
