Job Description: • Manages professional exploration employees and/or supervisors/superintendents • Has accountability for the performance and results of a team within own discipline or function • Skilled in financial management and understanding of business value drivers • Ability to monitor performance against Key Performance Indicator (Key Performance Indicator Key Performance Indicators (KPI), objectives and budget • Ability to successfully negotiate joint venture agreements that satisfy SSR investment criteria • Uses data in Meisterplan/Masterplans to prioritize and budget projects • Monitors the collection and management of relevant data to a high standard of quality assurance and control • Proficient in interpreting data and making sound objective assessments regarding exploration potential • Proficient in completing accurate high quality internal and statutory reports • Proficient in presenting results of exploration to peers and superiors • Proficient in insuring an accurate archive of data and knowledge • Understands Meisterplan and a regions Masterplans and uses them to prioritize and budget projects • Developing and managing the budget, allocating resources effectively, and optimizing the utilization of personnel, equipment, and software tools • Develops an effective 1-2 year strategic plan, annual business plan and budget • Proficient in leading risk assessments to identify key HSEC and business risks and establishing controls to mitigate those risks • Effectively monitors the implementation of mining programs to ensure they are conducted in accordance with company values, policies, standards, procedures, relevant laws, regulations, conditions, local cultural norms and third party agreements • Proficient in leading project reviews and making clear decisions based on results • Exercises sound judgment in regard to ground rationalization based on detailed data analysis SSR Mining Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
