JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Summary: Installs, configures, calibrates, and repairs technical products and systems at shop location. Provides exceptional customer service and technical aptitude for servicing vehicles and maintenance in a fast-paced environment. Entry-level position typically requiring little to no prior knowledge or experience. Job Description: Specific responsibilities include: •Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on installed products and equipment •Tear down vehicles and refit new parts accordingly to make and model •Complete all repairs in a manner in which the repaired areas are restored to the original manufacturer’s specifications, including door, hood and deck alignments, chassis and frame measurements, and welded on unibody parts •Protect the interior and exterior non-repair areas from dust, dirt, scratches, primer, overspray, etc. •Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves malfunctions of a moderately complex nature •Determines when products should be upgraded or replaced •Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation Skills/Qualifications/Physical Requirements: •Must have a valid driver’s license •Able to bend or stand at least 80% of the time; must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3' deep pit used to position self safely under cars •Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning •Capable of working any day of the week including Sundays and work in hot/cold weather conditions •Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds •Basic computer skills: ability to use a keyboard and a mouse to correctly collect and enter information into a point of sale system •Exceptional customer service skills •Where applicable: ability to obtain a state-issued inspector’s license is preferred •Attention to detail •Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members •Comfortable working in fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks to accomplish goals •Motivated self-starter who is willing to work independently and with teams #LI-DNI #DBHVOL
