The Opportunity: This Nursing Unit Clerk is responsible for coordinating the daily staffing of the Nursing Department. This role assists in maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and other staff members. What Is In It For You: • Assists in the coordination of staffing and scheduling needs for the Nursing Department including replacement of staff on a daily "call in" basis and updating staffing changes on the Master Schedule and daily compliments. • Obtains approval for overtime work from the Director of Care. • Maintains attendance/absenteeism reports and communicates any recurrent absenteeism to the Director of Care. What You Will Need: High School diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education an asset. Must have exceptional English communication skills, both orally and in writing.
