A day in the Life: Prepare and complete validation protocols for complex equipment, facilities, and computer systems. Review and verify data to ensure accuracy and compliance. Provide technical expertise and support to various teams. Maintain a safe working environment and report potential hazards. Perform alternating or rotating shift work as required. Keys to Success: To excel in this role, you should possess strong written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills. You should also have the ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines, and demonstrate strong judgment and decision-making skills. Education High school diploma or equivalent experience required. Working towards a B.Sc. in chemistry or a related field. Enrolled in a co-op Experience Previous experience in a validation or science-related environment is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Strong written and oral communication skills. Meticulous and well-organized. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Strong judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and the English language. Physical Requirements / Work Environment This position requires ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination. You should be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch periodically for prolonged periods of time. You should also have the ability to lift and carry light to medium weights, have good arm, hand, and finger dexterity, and have visual acuity for prolonged computer use.
