Job Summary Job Description This position provides leadership to the operation and development of RBC Capital Markets overall Access Management and Control area. As the Director of the Access Management group within CM Technology Risk Services you will have the ability to design and operate critical components of Canada’s leading investment banks risk and control environment. This group plays a key function to both the Business and IT. This position serves as a layer of oversight in managing the Capital Markets Access Control System (CMACS) application inventory, Access Onboarding and Access Controls and Attestation Program. What will you do? Build and operate industry leading Access Provisioning and Fulfillment Processes and design and operationalize effective automation to support real time oversight of all access operations, controls and reporting key indicators Lead and manage high performing access administration teams (onshore and offshore) supporting high pressure and time sensitive lines of business. Work with functional groups across the organization (i.e. supplier management office, infrastructure teams, compliance, operational risk, application support teams, etc....) to create, document, and maintain operational processes What do you need to succeed? Must-have This role is subject to a high degree of complexity due to level of analytical, technical and process knowledge required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Accurately defines problems and identifies relevant factors while objectively considering alternatives and anticipating the impact of possible solutions University degree or equivalent work experience. 15 years of relevant and broad-based experience in IT Team Lead/Management experience in various IT areas ideally, including a large Service Delivery role. Team Lead/Management in a high volume, service level driven Function and demonstrated ability to manage and develop full time, offshore and contingent workforce Solid knowledge of access management technologies and Processes required to drive automation path for application provisioning and fulfillment runbooks Ability to exercise sound judgment in managing escalations, exceptions and governance issues. Business exposure to a high demand/touch business such as Capital Markets Ability to multi-task and prioritize and work independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership, facilitation, negotiation, verbal and written communication skills to deal with senior management. Strong relationship management and managerial skills dealing with all parts of platform and all levels of senior management Nice-to-have Knowledge of risk controls and management Technical background Proven change leadership and change management skills Proven experience in creating and implementing reporting and processes Experience with identifying and implementing process/system changes which reduce risk, increase efficiencies or enrich customer service Experience with the following User Access Management areas: Access Request, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Provisioning, Fulfillment and Privileged Access What’s in it for you?
