We are looking for someone to join our Melbourne cafe team as our Café Chef.

About the role.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in the Melbourne cafe. Our Café is unique in its dual purpose to serve delicious coffee and food to our customers, but also exemplify the Allpress brand and showcase our coffee to potential wholesale customers.
This will be a Full Time, Mon - Fri role, with day time hours of work.
We are looking for a strong communicator, someone who is proactive, organised and has a real knack for solving problems and a keen eye for detail. It’s important that this person can be resourceful when required and maintains an open minded and pragmatic approach to all situations and tasks.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about high quality, seasonal and elegantly unfussy food, who is committed to continuous improvement and who will lead the team in bringing our food vision to life every day.
About you.
Experienced in a café kitchen.
A food lover with a keen eye for detail.
Experienced in menu development and cost management.
Sound understanding of managing kitchen finances, ensuring we meet our KPI’s and target margins.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Self-motivated with excellent time management.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Leadership skills that inspire and engage your team, embodying the Allpress brand experience.
